May 3    First Friday Food Trucks
First Friday Food Trucks Kicks Off Its Season on May 3rd!  Come and enjoy food truck fare from St. Louisianaq, Wingnut, Crooked Boot, and Dana's Shaved Ice and More...Woodshine will be performing under the large pavilion.  Food service begins at 5:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.  Live music from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Bring your lawn chairs and pop-up tents...coolers are welcome!

May 17 - May 19    YOGA, ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL: YAM FEST

Adventure Tribe Retreats is delighted to host our very first Yoga Art Music Festival, a.k.a. YAM Fest! YAM Fest will feature artists, musicians, yoga teachers and other practitioners of the healing arts for a weekend of fun and relaxation. Yoga - YAM Fest will offer up to 7 yoga classes and healing arts workshops each day. If you have been practicing for years or never practice a day in your life - welcome! We believe in the attitude of ‘yoga for everyone’ so whether you like it fast, slow, power, restorative, hatha, kundalini, partner, anything in between, or have no idea what those words fancy yoga words mean - we’ve got you covered!

 

Arts - We love artists! At YAM Fest we want to share and enjoy all things art! Visual arts, healing arts, nature art, etc. - it’s all art and it’s all beautiful. Enjoy opportunities to view and purchase beautiful creations as well as chances to participate in artist workshops where you can create your own masterpiece!

 

Music - What’s a festival without good music? I am sure you can tell by now that we like to let loose and have a great time. Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning we will have live music at the Riverside Stage with plenty of room to move on the dance floor. If you are a musician, bring your instruments and join the bonfire jam session Friday night or create your own around your campsite with your new YAM Fest friends.

 

Nature - One of the qualities that makes Lost Hill Lake Events the perfect place for YAM Fest is its picturesque geography and the short one hour drive from STL. Located right on the Meramec River, the LHLE property is 200+ acres of gorgeous farmland, rolling hills, a private lake, shaded walnut grove, secluded hiking trails, and private river access. We encourage you to turn your phone off and immerse yourself in the beauty of this place. There are great chances to view wildlife during the day and to enjoy the sounds of nature as you fall asleep in your tent without the background noise of city traffic or noisy neighbors.


 

Food - At Adventure Tribe Retreats we appreciate foods that nourish the mind, body and soul and believe a vegetarian and vegan lifestyle do just that! Sustainability is one of our core values and we are committed to creating a better planet for all living beings. We are excited to announce that YAM FEST vendors serve ALL vegetarian and vegan food throughout the weekend. In addition, YAM FEST vendors are required to serve food on compostable serving trays with compostable utensils.
