Holy Trinity Childcare to Host Open House

          Holy Trinity Childcare will host an open house on Thursday, August 8 from 5:30 to 7pm. 

          Holy Trinity Childcare has been providing high quality, faith-based childcare since 1987, first in the original church building in Parkway and at its current location at 1502 South Outer Road, St. Clair since 2001.

          We believe each child is a unique creation of God with an individual pattern of growth, which will affect his/her development. Each child progresses through predictable, orderly stages of growth, though not at the same rate as another child. At each stage of development, the child has distinct needs to be met and skills to be mastered. Within the time frame of our programs, we try to meet the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of the young child and to encourage the child’s mastery of skills at each stage of growth. Most importantly, we help the child develop a positive self-image by consistently meeting the child’s needs for affection, warmth and support in his or her early learning efforts.  Pastor Roger Altenberger conducts a weekly devotion time to encourage the spiritual growth of our students.  While HT CCLC is supported by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, all children are accepted, whether churched or unchurched.

          Our pre-kindergarten program ensures that students are ready to enter elementary school.  Literacy is emphasized and 99% of our students can read when they graduate from our program.  100% of the 2013 pre-school graduates ranked in the 99% percentile or higher on their kindergarten screenings.
